Caramel apples

Sophie tried her hand at making Carmel apples today! Ok, yum…The caramel wasn’t as good as the stuff they use at The Appleworks, but it will have to do. Here she shows the steps of what to do. We found this caramel dipping stuff at Gordon’s Food Service, in Greenwood. First, put your apples in warm water to warm them up to room temperature. Homemade Pretzels

Here is a yummy recipe we just made. I made these and then put in plastic container over night. If you eat them cold they are a little doughy….just like a breadstick, but if you warm in the oven a little bit, they are delicious.! Pretzel recipe: 1 T. yeast 1/c warm water 1 t. honey 1 t. sald 1 1/3 cup flour 1 beaten egg for eggwash Kosher salt Dissolve yeast and honey in warm water.
